Isaiah 12:2-4
"Behold, God is my salvation: I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JE-HO'VAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy you shall draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day you shall say, Praise the Lord, call upon His name, declare His doings among the people, make mention that His name is exalted."

Karen's Heart is Healed!
June 2009
Last week the heart doctor, Dr. Akiki, a cardiologist at Cobb Hospital, performed a nuclear test and EKG on Karen. She failed both of them and could not even complete the stress test. She was fatigued, had shortness of breath and some chest and neck pain.
The doctor was very concerned so he ordered a heart catheter, possible angioplasty, possible stent for June 23.
Usually it takes 1 to 1 1/2 hours for the procedure and longer if the stent is needed. Karen was in and out of the Catheter Room in about 30 minutes. They went into her heart, found everything okay, and ended the procedure.
KAREN'S HEART IS COMPLETELY HEALED. After discussion with the Doctor
and the nurses, they told Karen and me she was normal, no additional procedures needed, SHE CAN GO HOME. We arrived at the hospital at 9:00 this morning and she was discharged at about 4:00pm.
The Doctor's procedures and inspections today
CONFIRMED KAREN'S HEART IS HEALED!
Praise GOD, we are abundantly blessed.
Karen and I believe it was the prayers of the BETHEL WORSHIP CENTER FAMILY and others praying that brought about the Hand of God in her healing. Of course, the Holy Spirit did it. I believe when Pastor Scott stopped his message Sunday, asked everyone in the service to pray, that it moved the hand of God in healing her. The Holy Spirit certainly can perform any way He desires and I am not one to say otherwise, this is my belief. Since the Sunday service, Karen and I had been praying for her heart. From then until the good news today, we had a peace about it. Peace after prayer is usually a done deal that God is moving "as He pleases." And we leave the results to Him.
Sam Simpson (our Missions Director) shares the following:
While in Shamrock,Texas, an older gentleman who lived in the neighborhood
of the church where the mission team was working and ministering pulled up and engaged Sam in a conversation. Sam gladly satisfied the man's curiousity by filling him in on what was going on. As the chit chat was coming to an end, the fellow said "Well, you'll probably be needing money to get home on" as he put a $100 dollar bill in Sam's hand. Little did the man realize that he was an answer to a trusting heart. A heart that trusted God to provide for his trip home.
Sam was also in need of a haircut while in Shamrock so he took advantage of the opportunity offered to him by one of the New Hope Church members to stop in at her shop. After the haircut, the woman would not take any money because she wanted to bless Sam. He told her that before the day was out God was going to bless her back real good. Later in the day she was handed a check for $1000 to help her open her own shop that she had been working towards.
A testimony from the Prophetic Conference
During the conference the Lord gave me impressions and confirmations about my job status and our finances. I was blessed by the speakers and entered into a new realm of worshiping the Lord.
