EDUCATION & MINISTRY

Scott has a Masters degree in Pastoral Ministry from Logos Bible College and Lori has a Masters Degree in Counseling from Georgia State and a certificate in Christian Counseling from Psychological Studies Institute.

This is only a small part of how God has prepared us for ministry. After we married, God began to stir us to join Liberty Church in Marietta. We always knew that we were called to full time ministry, but God took us through a school of ministry/experience as He graciously put us under the ministry of Senior Pastor John Fichtner at Liberty Church.

We served as a Youth Pastor team for 6 years from 1995 to 2000, when God called us to plant in the Cartersville community. Our passion in the youth ministry was Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. This is truly restoration and reconciliation, and a precursor to what God was fulfilling in our own lives. As leaders of a large youth group, we had the honor to witness God's hand in the restoration and reconciliation among the young people and their families.

In addition to the professional schooling and the ministry experience at Liberty, God took us through Inner Healing and Deliverance under Jack and Sharon Valentino, from Sword of the Spirit Ministries in the late 90's,and we were set free to ministry healing and deliverance to others.

Since the start of our marriage, the Grace of Jesus and our identity in Him was a central focal point, and now all the more, it is part of our ministry as we see God's grace transform lives through His healing and restoration in the local church and through the prayer deliverance ministry of our church.

He has provided a wonderful support team since the church was conceived and we are honored to serve together with them in this work that God has called us to. Unity and teamwork is vital in our marriage and also our ministry team. That is why on most weeks, you will see us ministering as a couple in the altar service. Prayer has been the foundation of this work, and we could not accomplish anything without it. God is the Senior Partner of our ministry.
