Prayer

Our desire is to be a 24 hour house of prayer one day. Since the begining of the Church, prayer has been a vital part of our ministry. As the Senior pastor of this church, I have often said,"I do not want to do anything without praying first". Intercession is a vital part of each ministry as well. We experience corporate prayer in many different formats.

Preaching The Gospel

Preaching the Gospel is one of our passions but we cannot reach people, unless we get out of the church walls. The church is constantly looking for ways to get outside the box. We recently rented the movie theater in Cartersville to view the Passion of the Christ. One group is periodically visiting the mall to share their faith. One group cooks for the homeless and builds relationship in their environment. A prophetic team is available to minister in the community in innovative areas. Life groups have always been one avenue to reach the community, and we currently have people doing various studies or ministries in their homes.

Prepare Disciples & Pastor Believers

This has been accomplished in many different forms since we began, but Life groups are key to this purpose because the body does body ministry and each one can reach one, so to speak. Each one has the potential to share their faith and/or mentor other believers in this dynamic. Our Sunday Celebration is the time that the entire body comes together to be trained in the word of God and through corporate worship. Our Wednesday night service has been added in the last year as an additional opportunity for discipleship. As a church of healing and restoration, we also offer classes in inner healing and restoration. This is a 9 month committment.

Plant Leaders in every nation of the world

Missions are one of our passions, both locally and internationally. We have sent groups to Haiti, Guyana, Honduras, Phillipines, Barbados, Russia, and Uganda. Some have been sent out in their own long term ministries to the Nations. The most effective planting of leadership has come when we have the opportunity to train or mentor pastors/leaders from other Nations so they can go and train and mentor leaders under them in their own nation. This is so exciting to see this mission statement unfold before our eyes.
